Reese’s Peanut Butter cups were first started out in 1928 and it was known as simply the peanut butter cup. After this the candy was wrapped in its orange yellow wrapper. Then it was wrapped into a brown wrapper to protect the absolutely delicious milk chocolate with a peanut butter filling that will make every fat man wake up throughout the night wanting more. Now what people don’t understand is that these Reese’s peanut butter cups have 210 calories and 110 of them are from fat. This candy has 150 mg of sodium and 24 carbohydrates in just one package. Now why is this candy so popular? Well it has been around for 82 years. In 2003 a big event occurred, which was the 75th anniversary of the Reese’s peanut butter cup. They also came out with a few more editions to the peanut butter cup such as dark chocolate, white chocolate inside out, and big cup peanut butter cups. Also now the Reese’s industry has different shapes and sizes such as hearts for Valentines Day, a pumpkin for Halloween, an egg for Easter and a Christmas tree for Christmas. These crazy designs are for marketing reasons so that it seems as if its more convenient to buy their product because it’s supportive of that holiday. Always remember, “There’s no wrong way to eat a Reese’s.”
