Congratulations to Mr. Jamie Gardner for receiving the Golden Apple Award! He was nominated by Laurie Shorts, a junior at Maplewood, who is an active member of the band program.  This is Mr. Gardner’s tenth year teaching at Maplewood.  In those ten years, Mr. Gardner has turned the band into an award winning competitive marching band, created a jazz program, and raised an interest in music on the elementary level.  Thank you, Mr. Gardner, for all your hard work!

You can watch Mr. Gardner receive his award on Channel 24 News, on November 12th, 2008.
