The Saegertown Pantherian Key Club was established under the guidance of Pam Cornell, SHS Learning Support Aide, in February of this school year. The club hit the ground running and has not stopped. March saw the first ever Prom Key Club Boutique at which Saegertown girls could find affordable donated gowns and accessories. Encourgaed by the success of their initial endeavor the Key Club members, along with members of the Golden K, built a ramp and cleaned the yard of a Seagertown resident. Also in April, Saegertown Key Club students participated in Global Youth Service Day which is the largest annual celebration of young volunteers. Key Club members recently made a visit to the Crawford County Care Center and have plans to make the trip a scheduled monthly visit. Finally, according to Editor Gabby Bradshaw, in observance of the upcoming Memorial Day holiday, the Key Club will be collecting items to be sent to our troops and accepting donations to cover mailing expenses.
