Fallen Angels Book Review
The book Fallen Angels was very good. I liked it because it was very realistic but did not glamorize the war. The book is about a young man named Richard Perry. He joins the army because he does not know what to do with his life. He soon finds out the brutalities of war and battle. The book at first is slow going but it gets a lot better.
My favorite part of the book was his first battle. This is because it is very exciting. My least favorite part of the book was the beginning when not much is happening. I do not think the book could get much better. The book overall is very exciting and suspenseful. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good war book
Loamhedge Book Review
I liked the book Loamhedge because it had a lot of action in it. I love this kind of book because it keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat I do not believe this book could be any better because it is flaw-less. The part of the book I like the best is when Lonna Bowstripe kills all the sea rats that are at Redwall. The part I like the least is when Bragoon and Sarobando died but at least it was saving their friends.
I would recommend this book to others because it is easily understandable. Yes, I would read more by this author for the reason that every book so far I have read is very interesting. The book had many themes; the first of these being to believe in yourself and you can do anything. The next one is that just because something bad happens to you doesn’t mean you can’t live your life just like when the sea rats where in Redwall, but it did not stop the peaceful Redwallers from living their life. That is how I feel about this book and I plan to read many more of these types of books.
Homecoming Book Review
I thought Homecoming was a great book. It is about four kids. Dicey who is the oldest, James, Maybeth, and Sammy. They were on their way to their Aunt Cilla’s house with their mother. But when their mom goes to a mall she does not return to the car where the kids are at. Their father abandoned them when Dicey was little, and now their mother is abandoning them. Dicey has to take care of her brothers and sister while trying to get to their aunts house.
When they finally reach their Aunt Cillas house, they found out she had died a little bit earlier. Now they have to go to their spontaneous cousin’s house without letting anyone know they are orphans.
