I regret to inform the rest of you that the last bonus question has already been answered. It was answered the morning after I posted it.
The correct answer was fig trees. It was previously believed that barley was the 1st domesticated crop but recent evidence has show that almost 12,000 yrs ago people were planting fig trees.

Well it has been about a month since I last made a post. I want to comment that although the weather is going to start getting a little cold soon it was sure nice to have a couple of nice days to get us all in the swing of spring! For those of you looking for another bonus opportunity here it is!
Since my 9th graders are dealing with agriculture right now, the bonus question will relate to that. Some recent evidence has shown that a change in opinion of the first domesticated plant has changed. I would like you to tell me what is currently believed to be the first domesticated crop ever and when it occurred!! 5 points to the first one to tell me the correct answer.

Finally!! One of my Global Science students happened to look at my website and took the bonus point opportunity. For any of you wondering, the answer to the bonus point question was the eruption of Mt Tambora. It took almost three weeks for someone to take advantage of this opportunity. I’m just glad someone did. Be sure to check back in the future for other bonus point opportunites. I also plan on incorporating this website into more assignments in the future.

Well I was thinking about what a waste of time all the writing I do on my webpage since none of my students read it. So I thought I would reward any student who just by chance happens to take a look at my website. I will award ten bonus points to the student who reads this. But I can’t just give out points for nothing. I have an assignment for you. You must tell me what natural event caused “The year without a summer”. Please be specific.
