Lesson Requirements
Today in class we are going to be studying your brain!! We will be using a series of websites for today’s activities. All the websites that you will need for this lesson will be located along the right side of this webpage.
I would first like you to go to the website “Right-Brain vs. Left Brain.” Through this website you will learn which side of your brain is dominant. Please record your results from the test on a separate word document that you will print at the end of class. (Make sure it has your name on it!!) In addition to telling me which side of your brain is dominate, I want you to answer the following questions in complete sentences.
- What are the differences between these two hemispheres of the brain?
- Do you agree with what the test reported as your dominant hemisphere? Why or Why not?
For the next test I would like you to go to the “Multiple Intelligences’ page. On this page you will be learning what way you learn the best. Please record your dominant intelligence(s) on the word document and answer the following questions in complete sentences.
- List the 8 different intelligences?
- Describe what the 8 different intelligences are. (This section will be rather long)
- Do you agree or disagree with what the test said about your intelligence? Why or Why not?
- What do you think that this activity will have on your learning? In other words, do you think that it will help you to know how you learn?
The last test that you are going to do today is an IQ test. Please look at the scale before you start the test. At the end it will give you your score. DO NOT SEND FOR THE REST OF THE INFORMATION!!
- Include your IQ score on your word document.
