All sessions will be held at the Central Office Lab from 4-6 PM.
Beyond the Basics: Enhancing your Classroom Website

- Description: This session is for teachers who currently have and regularly use a PENNCREST provided blog/website (using Wordpress). If you do not currently have a website/blog and wish to, please register for and attend the Website Basics session. We will cover topics such as embedding content, site widgets, involving your students, opening comments, etc. PLEASE BRING IDEAS AND MATERIALS THAT YOU WISH TO ADD TO YOUR SITE.
Website Basics: Getting Started with your Classroom Website

- Description: This session is for teachers who do not currently have a PENNCREST website/blog. If you already have a website/blog please register for and attend the Website Advanced session. We will setup your site, work with templates, get some content added, etc. PLEASE BRING IDEAS AND MATERIALS THAT YOU WISH TO ADD TO YOUR SITE.
Moodle: Your Anytime, Anywhere Classroom

- Description: Moodle is an online classroom space. Assignments, forums, web links, discussions, journals, etc can be added to your Moodle site for your students to access from school or home. This session is for new Moodle users. We will cover the basics of Moodle and how to get your class started in this online space. If you already have and use a Moodle class please do not register for this session. PLEASE BRING IDEAS AND MATERIALS THAT YOU WISH TO PUT ON YOUR CLASS PAGE.
Google Docs: Collaboration Made Easy

- Description: Google Docs is a free, online word processor, spreadsheet and presentation tool. Students at PENNCREST have these tools automatically with their new PSD Mail account. This session is open to staff who wish to collaborate with others using Google Docs. This session will go over the basics of Google Docs and should allow time for creating contact groups in your email client. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE 2 DATES AVAILABLE FOR THIS SESSION.
Online Bookmarking Made Easy with Delicious

- Description: This session will cover delicious.com, an online bookmarking application. Create bookmarks to share with students and colleagues. The basics of delicious will covered and time will be given to start bookmarking your favorite sites. PLEASE BRING WEBSITE ADDRESSES TO BEGIN YOUR DELICIOUS SITE.
